WeinKlänge 2026 Returns to Palazzo Longo in South Tyrol

On 24 October 2026, music will once again fill the historic rooms of Palazzo Longo in Neumarkt/Egna, South Tyrol, as Baron Longo welcomes WeinKlänge back to the estate for an evening dedicated to music, wine and culture.

The concert is part of WeinKlänge and the Südtiroler Weinstraße, a series bringing together music and wine in historic residences, castles and wineries along the South Tyrolean Wine Road. The 2026 programme takes place from 16 October to 6 November, with ten concerts hosted at different locations throughout the region.

At Baron Longo, the setting will be Palazzo Longo itself.

An evening with the Windkraft Ensemble

Beginning at 18:00, the Windkraft Ensemble will perform at Palazzo Longo with a string quartet and clarinet. Following the concert, the evening will continue with selected Baron Longo wines accompanied by culinary delicacies.

For us, WeinKlänge is particularly special because the setting is as much a part of the evening as the music and wine.

Palazzo Longo has been home to generations of the Longo family and carries centuries of history within its rooms. Frescoes, historic interiors and the garden form the backdrop to life at the estate today, creating a place where past and present exist naturally alongside one another.

During WeinKlänge, these spaces take on a different character. Rooms normally associated with the everyday life of the estate become concert spaces, while music moves through a building that has witnessed generations of family history.

Afterwards, the evening continues over wine.

This combination is what makes WeinKlänge particularly fitting for Baron Longo. Wine, like music, depends on nuance, timing and interpretation. Both can change the way we experience a place, and both invite us to pay attention rather than hurry.

The wines served after the concert offer another perspective on the landscape surrounding Palazzo Longo. Our vineyards extend from the valley floor around Neumarkt/Egna to 1,050 metres above sea level in the Trudner Horn Nature Park, bringing together different soils, exposures and climatic conditions within one estate.

For one autumn evening, those landscapes meet the music of the Windkraft Ensemble inside the historic home of Baron Longo.
